Tonight I had the following conversation:

Woman: hi! My name is Jane (meaningful look given)
Me: I'm Kristy. I'm a friend of the family
(another meaningful look from 'Jane')
My friend: yep! Kristy was our tutor for about 5 years.
Woman: WHAT?!?!? You aren't old enough to have been their tutor!
Me: oh, well I'm 27 (ok...I'm ALMOST 27...but it's close enough)
Woman: oh my goodness! I thought you were 17! At most 18 (yeah that one year makes a BIG difference). Do you know how lucky you are? Seriously...you're sooooo lucky!

Haha! I get that I look younger than I am ALL the time, but this one was a good one! Just wanted to share.
